Bane Ash

Bane Ash is a very rare unique early-game staff with +5 to Fire Bolt, +2 to Warmth and Fire Resist +50%. It also provides some IAS and bonus to Mana.
Short Staff is a normal unique so it can be upgraded to Jo Staff (exceptional) and then to Walking Stick (elite), which will have higher damage but also higher requirements.

Eth weapon worn by a caster using spells (not hitting enemies with melee attacks) will not lose durability and is considered superior because of the special ethereal appearance.
