Factions in WoW offer a vast number of collectible items, purchasable from their Quartermaster/Emissary Vendors. For the most part you have to farm reputation to Exalted to unlock access to those items. How does the Reputation system work?
There are 9 different rep levels in WoW and each of them has a specific number of reputation points to be acquired before progressing to the next one. Each level makes your character eligible for access to specific faction items.
Reputation Levels:
- Paragon (10,000 points for faction cache. Has no limit and can be done repeatedly)
- Exalted (Max Level)
- Revered (21,000 points to next level)
- Honored (12,000 points to next level)
- Friendly (6,000 points to next level)
- Neutral (3,000 points to next level)
- Unfriendly (3,000 points to next level)
- Hostile (3,000 points to next level)
- Hated (36,000 points to next level)
