Skinning (Classic)

We will level your Skinning skill. Skinning allows players to skin a corpse after it has been looted. Skinning pelts include leather, scales, hides, carapaces and morefrom beasts, dragonkin, nerubians and silithid. Some beasts such as Core Hound and Onyxia require higher level of skill (310-315).
Improved Skinning skill:
- Enchant Gloves - Skinning > Permanently enchant gloves to grant +5 Skinning skill.
- Sword: Zulian Slicer > Grants +10 Skinning skill. Dropped by High Priest Thekal in Zul'Gurub.
- Dagger: Finkle's Skinner > Grants +10 Skinning skill. Dropped by The Beast in Blackrock Spire.
Valuable Leather:
- Pristine Hide of the Beast > Requires 310 Skinning and is needed for three epic armor quests. Obtained by Skinning The Beast in Blackrock Spire.
- Core Leather > Requires 310 Skinning. Mainly used for core armor kits and various epic items made by gaining faction.
- Dreamscale > Requires 315 Skinning and is needed for Nature Resistance gear.
- Scale of Onyxia and Black Dragonscale > Requires 315 Skinning and is needed for gear such as Onyxia Scale Cloak or Onyxia Scale Breastplate.
- Devilsaur Leather > Used to craft Devilsaur Leggings, Devilsaur Gauntlets and Persuader (Mace). Devilsaur armor set is popular due to it's great hit chance bonus.
