Darksight Helm

Darksight Helm provides very useful skill: Cloak of Shadows, it causes a cloud which hides its owner and reduces enemy's defense. It also provides Fire Resist +20-40% and 5% Mana Leech.
This is one of the only two helms in the game that gives a Cannot Be Frozen bonus.
Basinet is an exceptional unique so it can be upgraded to Giant Conch (elite), which will have higher defense but also higher requirements.

	Darksight Helm grants 6% chance to cast level 3 Dim Vision when struck (Necromancer curse usable by any class). It lasts 3-11 seconds, works over 4 yards area and blocks ranged monster attacks and many skills until you get close and start attacking them. This can save you from dying in many areas filled with tough ranged monsters.
	Darksight Helm grants 30 charges of level 5 Cloak Of Shadows (Assassin skill usable by any class). It lasts 12 seconds, works over 20 yards area and gives 22% defense and reduces enemy defense by -27%. It blocks ranged monster attacks and many skills until you get close and start attacking them, this can save you from dying in many areas filled with tough ranged monsters.
