Maps & Orbs

PD2 characters that reached level 80, completed Baal quest and rescued Anya (Nilathak can stay alive) on Hell difficulty can open maps.
Maps have different monster level: tier one is 87, tier two is 88, tier three is 89 and dungeons are level 90.

Magic/Rare maps can be created in the Cube by transmuting white maps with ingredients bought from Anya. You can also use WSS to corrupt maps, slamming can give bonus mods or change existing ones.
Unique map Zhar's Sanctum will drop extra charms (boss will drop skiller charms), Warlord of Blood will drop corrupted items (boss will drop unique corrupted item) and Fallen Gardens will drop extra jewels (boss will drop Rainbow Facet).
Besides bonuses to experience gained and Magic/Gold Find (MF/GF), magic/rare maps can also boost players/monsters by giving bonuses to Res/FCR/IAS/Life etc.
Maps are available only in Project Diablo 2.


RECIPES
Magic Map: Acrane Orb + Jewel + White Map (or Infused Acrane Orb)
Rare Map: Zakarum Orb + Jewel + any Rune + White Map (or Infused Zakarum Orb)
Upgrade Magic → Rare Map: Angelic Orb + Perfect Skull + any Rune + Magic Map (or Infused Angelic Orb)
Upgrade Map to a higher tier: 3 Maps of the same tier + Cartographer's Orb
Reroll Magic Map: 3 Perfect Gems + Magic Map
Reroll Rare Map: Horadrim Orb + Perfect Gem + any Rune + Rare Map (or Infused Horadrim Orb)
Create a random normal Map: 3 Maps of the same tier (any rarity)
Turn T3 Map into a random Dungeon: Horadrim Scarab
Add heroic bonuses: Standard of Heroes
Add 'Area contains a random event': Catalyst Shard
Halve the density but double health and loot: Orb of Fortification
Clean Map: Orb of Destruction
