Orb Of Corruption

OOC is used to corrupt set and non-eth unique items in Path of Diablo. Corruption can modify your item and make it more powerful by rolling one additional property or turning it into a rare random item or even roll sockets. Every item can be corrupted only once, any further attempts to corrupt it will have no success.

In some cases an upgraded item can roll more sockets than its original version, e.g. Vampire Gaze as Grim Helm (exceptional) can roll up to 2 sockets, while as Bone Visage (elite) can roll up to 3 sockets.

Below are listed the most desirable mod on every item type:
10% Faster Cast Rate - ring, body armor;
+1 to All Skills - amulet;
5-10% All Resistances - boots, amulet, gloves, bolt/arrow;
10% Increased Attack Speed - body armor, gloves, bolt/arrow, 10-15% IAS weapon;
5-10 to Strength - helm;
5-10 to Dexterity - boots;
10% Crushing Blow/Deadly Strike - weapon.
