Worldstone Shard

WSS is used to corrupt unique/set items. Corruption can modify your item and make it more powerful by rolling one additional stat or turning it into a rare random item or even roll up to 6 sockets, but there is also a chance to completely destroy it.
To corrupt an item you need to transmute it with Worldstone Shard in the Cube.

Extra sockets corruption can yield up to:
- 3 sockets in body armor, helm and shield
- 4 sockets in one-handed weapons
- 6 sockets in two-handed weapons

Listed below are the most desirable mods for every item type:
+1 to All Skills - weapon, body armor, shield, helm and amulet
Faster Cast Rate - 10% body armor, shield, belt, ring, amulet; 5-10% weapon
Increased Attack Speed - 10% belt, gloves; 20-30% weapon
Strength - 5-10 ring, belt; 6-12 amulet
Dexterity - 5-10 ring, belt; 6-12 amulet
Vitality - 5-10 ring, belt; 6-12 amulet
Faster Hit Recovery - 20-30% body armor, shield, helm; 8-14% boots, belt; 8-12% weapon; 10-14% amulet
All Resistances - 15-20% body armor, helm; 22-30% shield; 4-8% boots, belt, gloves; 4-10% amulet; 3-6% ring
Single Res - 10-15% ring, gloves, belt; 15-20% boots; 30-35% body armor, helm; 35-40% shield; 15-30% amulet
Physical Damage Reduction - 4-6% helm, shield, body armor; 2-4% belt; 2-3% boots
