The Reaper's Toll

The Reaper's Toll is a popular unique polearm for merc. Reaper has 33% Deadly Strike, 11-15% Life Leech and Ignore Target's Defense mod but the best property is 33% chance to cast Decrepify. It will reduce monster's physical resistance (or remove phys immunity), greatly enhancing your (merc's) damage.
Ethereal version of this item is highly recommended as it has 50% more damage.

This item can drop only on Ladder but it is obtainable on Non-Ladder via trade because all Ladder characters convert to NLD after reset. There are no Ladder-only items in D2R, you can find everything on NLD.

The Reaper's Toll grants 33% chance to cast level 1 Decrepify on striking (Necromancer curse usable by any class). It lasts for 4 seconds over 4 yards area and reduces enemy's attack speed (IAS), damage and physical resistance by -50%. It will greatly increase physical damage that you do and it will have nearly 100% uptime.
