Upgrading: Weapon

Upgraded version of Rare/Unique weapon will have not only more damage but also higher strength/dexterity and level requirements.
You need to use appropriate version of the item with each upgrading pack (transmute ingredients in the Horadric Cube); Exceptional > Elite upgrading formula for Unique items works only on Ladder, Single Player and any D2R game mode, on Non-Ladder Unique Elite-upgraded items are obtainable only via trade or you can purchase them from us.

Unique Normal > Exceptional pack includes Ral Rune + Sol Rune + Perfect Emerald
Unique Exceptional > Elite pack includes Lum Rune + Pul Rune + Perfect Emerald (only on Ladder and any D2R game mode)
Rare Normal > Exceptional pack includes Ort Rune + Amn Rune + Perfect Sapphire
Rare Exceptional > Elite pack includes Fal Rune + Um Rune + Perfect Sapphire

Upon upgrading, only base item type will be upgraded; Item name and bonuses from the item will remain the same as they were before upgrading, e.g. Titan's Revenge (ETH) has exceptional ethereal unique Ceremonial Javelin as base item type, so it can be upgraded to elite version — ethereal Matriarchal Javelin.
'Ethereal' status, sockets and bonuses from inserted fillers (if any) will remain after upgrading as well.
